Seville, the capital of Andalucia, is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in Spain. An explosion of color and contrast--as well as the successful mix of the modern and traditional--means that Seville offers a wide range of cultural variety to cater for all tastes throughout the year: Flamenco, bullfighting, Semana Santa (Holy Week), The April Fair, and always a lively atmosphere in the streets.
The school is based in a modern, fully equipped and refurbished historical mansion in the heart of Seville, just a short walking distance from all the major places of interest. Enjoy a large welcoming central patio and a peaceful roof top terrace with WIFI network and pool, modern, spacious and bright fully-equipped classrooms, as well as a large variety of additional resources such as a multimedia room and bookshop. The standard intensive Spanish course is 20 hours per week with a maximum of 10 participants per group.
The school offers a daily program of activities to discover the city and its history. Examples might include trips to other cities in Andalusia, Portugal and Morocco, visits to museums, walks around the city, movie screenings, and exchanges with Spanish students who learn other foreign languages. Most are included in the course fee. However, you should budget a little extra to cover transportation costs and/or entrance fees.
A homestay with a local family is the best way to gain authentic insights into the everyday life and culture of Seville. Host families come in all shapes and sizes. All homestays include breakfast and dinner.
