Host a Teen

This year, ANDEO is welcoming teens from Europe, Latin America, and Asia to the Pacific Northwest. Some will attend local high schools for a few weeks while living with host families. Others will participate in weekday language classes and cultural activities while spending evenings and weekends with their hosts. The rest will be free to become immersed in their host families' daily lives and schedules, whether that means spending lazy summer days at home, attending a family reunion, or camping at the coast.

Homestay with School Visit

Experience American high school from a new perspective by bringing a new friend into the school community for a few weeks. For the past ten years, ANDEO has been connecting school groups from France, Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Japan with American families and schools. The international teens follow a host sibling's schedule at school, assist in language classes as requested, and spend weekends bonding with their American hosts.

Summer Homestay Immersion

This is a great program for families throughout Oregon and Washington who have teens at home!  Since students on immersion programs don't have scheduled classes or other group activities, they are completely available to join you in all your favorite summer activities...whether that means biking around the neighborhood, meeting your relatives and friends, or joining host siblings at summer camp. The teens are looking forward to speaking English and to experiencing everyday life as part of your family.
