How to Apply:
(The deadline to apply for a 2008 program is April 15th)

1: Once you have decided which program you are interested in applying for you will want to fill out an application:

Then mail in a deposit of $250 (for homestay/study and immersion programs) or $500 (for semester programs) Your initial deposit goes toward your full program price.

2:Once we receive your initial application, we will send you a full application packet. You will have approximately four weeks to complete your packet. Your full application packet will include:

• a form explaining your hobbies and interests
• a medical form
• 3 reference forms for your teachers
• three short essay questions
• a "Dear host family" letter in the language of the country you will be visiting
• a photo collage of your friends, family, school, house, etc

3:When you have completed your full application packet we will ask that you send it in with your next scheduled payment.

4:After reviewing your full application packet, the Outbound Coordinator will call you to set up a time to do a phone interview. During the phone interview the Outbound Coordinator will ask you questions about your application and about traveling abroad.

5: Once the interview is completed, the Outbound Coordinator will send you a letter letting you know whether you have been accepted into the program. This usually takes one to two weeks, depending on when you apply. If you are not accepted into the program, all of your money will be refunded.
