Experience the beauty of French culture as a member of a welcoming French family! Visit with your new friends at a local café, learn the secrets of French cuisine at your host mother’s side, and join in the flow of daily life and conversations of a French community.

You’ll fly into Paris where you’ll be met by the bilingual local coordinator. You will travel by train to your new hometown where your host family will be waiting to welcome you. Your chaperone will be available throughout your stay to help you get the most out of your homestay experience.

Independent Homestay Immersion Program

Open to high school students who are at least 16 years old and
have three years of high school French.

Program includes:

• Homestay placement with all meals
• Comprehensive medical insurance
• Bilingual local coordinator
• Escort to and from airport in Paris
• Comprehensive orientation materials

Experience the beauty of French culture as a member of a welcoming French family! Choose your departure city and dates for 3-4 weeks. You will be met at the airport in Paris by a program coordinator who will assist you with transportation to the city where your host family will meet you. Local bilingual coordinators are available throughout your stay to help you get the most out of your homestay experience.
