Andeo invites you to explore a world of welcoming families, lifelong friendships and cross-cultural adventures! Whether you stay for 4 weeks or 10 months, you will be welcomed by a local host family and enjoy the support of a team of professional homestay coordinators!
High School Students can choose from 20 programs in eight countries - Japan, Costa Rica, France, and Spain are just a few of our most popular locations. Many include small-group language classes, cultural activities and excursions. The application deadline for summer programs is April 15th (summer immersion), and May 1st (summer study). APPLY TODAY!
Interested in a Gap Program before college? Experience the world as you learn another language and learn about yourself. Customize a program that combines language study with cultural studies and/or volunteer activities. Photography in Italy, art in Spain, organic farming in Japan, and theater in Germany are just a few of the options! Academic credit is available for all programs.
College Students and Adults can also join Andeo language/homestay programs. It’s never too late to learn a language! Choose from programs in nine countries. All include small-group language classes, cultural activities, and stays with welcoming local families.

We are Experienced Homestay Specialists. A non-profit organization based in the Pacific Northwest since 1981, Andeo has always specialized in homestay programs for students of all ages.
We Believe in Homestays! Our staff members have all stayed with host families abroad (see Meet our Staff). Our homestay experiences have been major, positive influences on the course of our lives. We know firsthand the joys and challenges of homestays and we believe there is no better way to experience and culture, learn a language, and make friends for life!
We Work Directly with Homestay Specialists Abroad. From our office in Portland, Oregon we work closely with our overseas partners to support the students and families who participate in our programs. Questions are answered promptly and students are supported throughout the application process and homestay experience.
You Will Never be a Number. Our programs are small and our service is personal. We won’t brag about the thousands of students we send abroad, but we are proud of the personalized service and outstanding support we give our participants.
