School Visits and Hosting Programs


	Andeo offers opportunities to host teens and adults from Spain, France, Germany, Japan and other countries! Options include short programs during the school year, summer homestay immersion programs, and summer study programs.


	School Visits from Spanish and French Teens

	Language classes come to life when your students can practice speaking with a teen from France or Spain! his program gives your students the opportunity to learn from thoughtful, dynamic international students who are eager to share their language and culture. The French and Spanish students stay in host families and visit high school for 2 or 3 weeks with their host brothers and sisters. They love to assist in class! You can fit them into your curriculum with activities such as conversation groups, pronunciation help,Q&A about the life of a teenager in France/Spain, or participation in skits. When they are not helping you, the international students


	will be shadowing their hosts in other classes. The goal of this program is cultural exchange that will benefit your school and students, the American hosts, and the French and Spanish teens!


	French Programs
		We place the French students in many schools to be sure that we don’t have too many students at one school. We have an informational packet prepared to introduce the program to your school administrator for approval. We ask you to send around a sign-up sheet so your students can indicate an interest in hosting. We will contact the families and take care of all of the communication with the hosts. “I can’t tell you how wonderful all of the students were who came here. 	Spanish Pograms

		We only get one or 2 groups of Spanish students each September, so please let us know right away if you are interested. A group consists of 15 students, and one group can be hosted by a single school, or split between 2 neighboring schools. We have an informational packet prepared to introduce the program to your school administrator for approval. We ask you to send around a sign-up sheet so your students can indicate an interest in hosting. We will contact the families and take care of all of the communication with the hosts.


	High school students from Spain visit soon after school opens in September. A scholarship committee in Spain selects the students to participate in an American school experience based on good academics and financial need. The students stay with host families for 3 weeks, but they are not at school every day. The Spanish students also participate in a program of activities coordinated by ANDEO.

	Summer Hosting Opportunities for Teens

		Encourage your students to learn more about the language and culture they are studying by hosting a high school student for a few weeks during the summer! You can download the host family application form or encourage them to apply online.


	Host an Adult from France, Spain, or Germany!


	You or your students can also host an adult from France, Spain or Germany. Options include hosting a group chaperone, hosting a young adult (18+) or hosting a young adult who is participating in a local internship.
