Tarragona, Spain Located on the coast just one hour south of Barcelona, Tarragona is a great place to enjoy the Spanish way of life. Besides the fantastic beach, the town also offers beautiful historic buildings as well as lots of cozy cafes and tapas restaurants. Almost all sights are within walking distance from the city center.
The Classes Bring your Spanish to life in conversational language classes, held every weekday in the morning or afternoon. You will share a class with up to 11 other teens from around the world. The program includes 15 hours of classes per week, with a focus on speaking and comprehension skills. Practical activities will give you many opportunities to gain confidence interacting in Spanish. | Cultural Activities and Excursions Enjoy the relaxed lifestyle and deepen your understanding of Spanish culture through afternoon activities and excursions. For example, you may explore old Roman ruins, play sports on the beach, or stroll through downtown Barcelona. On Sundays, you will have free time to get to know your Spanish host family.
Accommodations A homestay with a local family is the best way to immerse yourself in the daily life in Spain. Host families come in all shapes and sizes, but what they all have in common is a strong interest in sharing their culture. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.

Homestay Study in San Sebastian

San Sebastián, Spain Welcome to the cultural capital of the Basque country! You will find some of the best beaches in Europe within a short walk from impressive historical buildings. Enjoy the great views from Mount Igueldo, relax in the Miramar park, or sample some pinxtos, traditional appetizers, in a cozy café.
The Classes Take your Spanish to the next level through fun, interactive language classes. In five classes each weekday, you will work on speaking skills, comprehension, and grammar basics. Classes consist of 4-12 international high school students. The school is located close to Cristina Enea park and the lively district of Egia.
Cultural Activities and Excursions Discover San Sebastián and learn about the Basque culture through afternoon activities and excursions. From about 3:30 to 7:30 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, you may bike around town, have a picnic on Santa Clara island, visit a typical fishing village nearby, or play sports on the beach. This is also a great time to meet other teens from around the world. Tuesday and Thursday afternoons are free time to spend with your new friends.

Cádiz, Spain Explore 3000 years of history and while enjoying the vibrant culture of Southern Spain! Cádiz is said to be one of the oldest cities in Western Europe, so you will feel like an archeologist finding the treasures of past millenia all over town. Another claim to fame is that Cádiz is the home to some of the liveliest festivities in the country. Located on a peninsula, Cádiz also features beautiful beaches and exotic plants.
The Classes Classes start at 10 am and are held for 3 hours each weekday - almost entirely in Spanish! Your teachers will make sure that you get many opportunities to try out your language skills outside the classroom and learn about Spanish culture. For example, you may buy food at a local street market or visit an exhibit of Spanish art. At the workshops and social activities, you can get to know the other teens from around the world.
Cultural Activities and Excursions Experience Cádiz and soak up the local culture through afternoon activities and weekend excursions! Get a great view of the city from Torre Tavira, enjoy a traditional Flamenco show or sample some delicious tapas! Trips to nearby cities are also included.

AP Course in Seville or Cádiz

Cádiz and Sevilla, Spain Choose from two exciting program locations: Cádiz or Sevilla. Sevilla, the cultural capital of Andalusia, is famous for its stunning architecture, beautiful public gardens, and vibrant festivities. Cádiz is an ancient city in southern Spain with great beaches and traces of Roman and Moorish cultures. Explore the narrow, cobble-stoned streets of either city, pick some fresh oranges from the trees, and try out your Spanish in conversations with the locals!
The Classes Our AP language course includes fun, interactive classes that will let you take your Spanish to the next level. All teachers have been trained and approved by the College Board AP Program. Classes are held for three hours every weekday morning and focus on preparing you to get the most out of your AP language year. It covers specific grammar topics and vocabulary from the AP curriculum while giving you insights into different aspects of Spanish culture. At the end, you will give an oral presentation and test your new Spanish skills in a mini-exam.
Cultural Activities Discover the beauty of southern Spain and learn more about Spanish culture through afternoon activities and excursions! Depending on the location, you may visit a Flamenco concert, get a close look at the historic buildings, or enjoy the relaxed pace of life on the beach.
