I immediately felt like part of the family because I would help their two sons with homework, we would share stories, paint houses, visit extended family, and watch TV together. Hanging out with the family was the best part of the trip. The father really liked telling me all about their past and life in general, which was challenging because it used a lot of brain power to understand everything he was saying. It was a real mental workout every night, but it was enjoyable.”
